For over four decades, Kym has had the honor and pleasure of addressing audiences for training seminars, workshops, conferences, classroom sessions, community fundraisers, and many public and private sector special events. Her objective is to help develop ideas, inspire, and transform thought processes into formidable visions, creative applications, and duplicable solutions.
Kym has been interviewed by radio, television, magazine and newspaper outlets. Some of the organizations she was a guest speaker for included the Boys and Girls Club of America, The Dove's Nest, Suit-Up Charlotte, Florence Crittenton Services, Girl Scouts of America, General Mills Feeding Dreams, S.C. School for the Deaf, S.C. Women's Correctional Institute, and the Indian Trail Cultural Arts Center.
Community outreach is part of her DNA. She echoes an inspiring quote by Dr. Maya Angelou, "I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back.
